A group of 15 members enjoyed a wine and dine event at the Bodega. A glass ofrosado cava greeted us on arrival and wethen took our seats for a buffet of different cheeses, meats, bread, tomatoes and olive oil.

We sampled glasses of Mallorcan white, rosado and two red wines. Accompanied by a commentary from Xisco, the owner, with many years in the wine industry. We all increased our knowledge of how sparkling wine is made, bottled and stored, whether that is champagne, cava or prosecco. Purchases were also made before we left to wobble home for a long siesta.

Definitely an event to be repeated!
