Fiesta's in Mallorca

Every year Mallorca has a number of Fiesta days which are generally public holidays with larger shops and businesses closed on this day. Some of these are national holidays while others are only a public holiday in the actual area they take place in. These local fiestas in particular can catch you out in so far as the shops businesses etc. will be closed for the day while places outside this area will still remain open.
